On October 30 - November 1, 2008, Visit Ukraine - the First National Trade Show Forum of Ukrainian Tourist Products will take place
within the framework of the Annual Professional Forum Hospitality Industry. Visit Ukraine is a brand-new format of professional tourist trade
shows, as it will specifically represent the national tourist products for a specially invited professional audience - tour operators and tour
agents from the EU and CIS countries, the USA, Japan, China, countries of the Gulf and representatives of the Ukrainian tourist business. Besides,
representatives of leading corporate customers will be invited as professional attendees.
The main objective of the event is to show the potential of the main segments of the Ukrainian tourist industry, to induce the flows of
organized internal and inbound tourism, to contribute to development of new tourist products due to collaboration of various market players.
The leading tourist centers of the state - from the capital to small historic towns of the Central and Western Ukraine, sea and mountain resorts,
historical and cultural wildlife sanctuaries and national natural parks - are planned to be presented within the framework of the forum
exposition. A special emphasis shall be laid on presentation of thematic varieties of tourism and recreation:
- Cultural tourism.
- Adventure and sports tourism.
- Country tourism.
- Visiting cities and towns on weekends.
- Therapy and health improvement, spa.
- Academic tourism.
- Tourism for children and youth.
- Servicing of business trips, conducting of seminars and conferences.

- Water parks and theme parks.

Conducting of the trade show forum Visit Ukraine will become the final stage of the events held during the Eighth Annual Forum Hospitality
Industry - on the eve, on October 26-28, 2008, Rus Hotel will host a series of professional conferences for hotel managers and restaurateurs,
a specialized conference and exhibition of investment projects on the threshold of Euro-2012.
Special events
A number of special events will be held within the framework of Visit Ukraine, including:
- The conference "Development of a national system of tourist information centers", dedicated to setting grounds for development of a system of tourist information centers;
- The conference "World experience in developing cities as tourist centers" for the management of local self-government bodies, central and local authorities for tourism, local professional tourist associations and investors;
- The conference on topical issues of development of tourism for children and youth;
- The seminar "Active tourism as a factor contributing to tourist flows growth".
The traditional festival of tourism for children and youth - Dyvosvit - will be held during Visit Ukraine. Most of field
professional associations, leading hotel and recreation complexes, tour-operators and transportation companies have already confirmed their
participation in the said event.
